About

I have always been interested in the creative process. When I was very young, I would find the most joy in drawing, painting, and writing stories.

About twelve years ago, I discovered a love for sculpture. I began to work with clay, wax, and then ultimately bronze. The process was so different and challenging in wonderful ways, and I believe it pushed me to become a better artist.

In the past year, I discovered that I could manipulate wool and wire almost like I would sculpt with clay and wax. It is softer and a little more forgiving, but still with its own challenges. There is such a peace I find in working with wool that has captured my interest more than any other art form presently. I’m still very new to the world of wool and look forward to delving more into all that the world of fiber has to offer.

I continue to draw and paint here and there, and plan to return to bronze work again soon. Those chapters remain open and full of more to explore. I have also always had a love for animals and the outdoors which is a never-ending source of inspiration in my work.
