As a kid that grew up in Orange County, NY, Eggbert the talking egg from Devitt’s “Christmas at the Farm” holds a special and strange place in my childhood memories. My rendition of Eggbert is made of needle felted wool with glass eyes and now happily lives with one of my brothers and his family.
